Drive Change began in the heart of Fort Worth when a small group of concerned neighbors recognized that many families were living just outside the reach of crucial benefits. Despite being eligible for programs like SNAP and Texas Medicaid, a significant number of individuals remained unenrolled due to barriers like lack of information and resources. Inspired by the spirit of our city, they set out to create a solution that would bridge this gap.
Combining their dedication to community service with the growing need for accessible resources, the founders developed a vehicle-donation program. This approach not only provided an avenue for vehicle owners to give back but also established a sustainable funding model to support a free benefits-research service.
